AD5 Graduates Simulation
Limited places. Places will be allocated on a first-come,
first-served basis, until the maximum number of participants is reached.
AD5 Graduates Examination Simulation (Generalists)
Second edition of “The Great Simulation”
Following the success of the first edition, in which 300 candidates from across Europe took part in 16 different languages,
we are taking this experience to a new level by increasing the number of participants, introducing new configurations
to make the experience even more realistic... and limiting even further the number of places on the reserve list.
The aim is to continue bringing the experience as close as possible to the real conditions of the process,
while maintaining a demanding environment consistent with the examination.
Put yourself to the test with this major simulation of the AD5 Generalists examination
If you want to assess your level under realistic conditions, this simulation reproduces the environment and level of demand
of the process so that you can see where you stand and what you need to improve.
What does your registration include?
1) Language selection (L1 and L2)
When registering, you must select:
-
Your Language 1 (L1), in which you will sit the reasoning tests
-
Your Language 2 (L2), in which you will sit the remaining tests
(Digital Skills, EU Knowledge and the written test)
L1 and L2 must be different.
We recommend that you select the same languages as those you have indicated in the official competition,
so that the simulation is representative of your real situation.
Important: this choice is made at the time of registration and cannot be changed afterwards,
so it is important to confirm it carefully before completing your registration.
All 24 official languages of the European Union are available, both for L1 and for L2.
2) Base document for the written test
You will have access to the preparation document for the written test 2 weeks before
the examination date you select at the time of registration.
You will have 14 days to work on it.
3) Right to sit the full examination
You will be able to sit the simulation on the date you select during registration, according to the following timetable
(CET – Brussels time):
- 10h00: Reasoning tests
- 13h00: EU Knowledge and Digital Skills
- 15h30: Written test
Examination on the E-Yepso! platform
All exercises will be completed on the E-Yepso! platform, designed to reproduce an experience
as close as possible to the real examination.
The simulation will take place in an environment that includes:
- Integrated scratchpad
- Virtual calculator
- Official time limit for each test
This makes it possible to train both content and time management under conditions equivalent to those of the examination.
4) Results, explanations and written test template
You will have access to:
- Results and explanations for the reasoning tests, EU Knowledge and Digital Skills
- Written test answer template
Important: in order to reproduce the real conditions of the process, scores and completed exercises
will only be available once the reserve list has been published.
5) Communication of results by e-mail (28 April)
On 28 April, you will receive an e-mail with:
- Pass/Fail for the reasoning tests
- Score in EU Knowledge and Digital Skills
- Pass/Fail for the written test
In addition, you will be informed whether, on the basis of your results and in comparison with the performance
of the other participants, you would have had a chance of being placed on the reserve list.
For this purpose, an estimate will be made based on:
- The number of posts published in the AD5 Graduates competition notice.
- The number of candidates who have submitted their application.
- The total number of participants in this simulation.
The number of places on the reserve list will be communicated once the total number of participants
in this simulation has been finalised.
Important notes
-
This simulation does not include a numerical mark for the written test or individual feedback, although this may be purchased separately.
As in the official examination, only approximately 1,5 times the number of candidates foreseen for the reserve list will be assessed.
-
If you are unable to take part in the simulation on the selected date, access to the examination tests will be provided
so that you can complete them at another time of your convenience. However, in that case, the candidate will not be considered
for the estimate regarding access to the reserve list.
-
Failure to attend the simulation, for whatever reason, will not entitle the candidate to a refund or to reserve their place
for future editions.
