Registrations for this course will be managed through our website during the following period:

The course will start on 8 April 2026.
Places are limited and participation will be confirmed once the minimum number of participants is reached.
Before joining the course, participants will take part in a short oral interview with the instructor to confirm that the required C1 level is appropriate for the programme.
Information
Working in the European institutions requires a high level of professional communication in English, both written and oral. This course is designed for candidates who wish to strengthen their English skills in the context of EU careers and develop the confidence needed to communicate effectively in international and institutional environments.
Through a series of practical sessions, participants will work on fluency, structured communication and professional language use, focusing on the types of interactions commonly encountered in the EU institutional context.
The course will be delivered online in small groups, allowing for active participation, practical exercises and continuous interaction with the instructor.
The programme consists of 12 sessions of 1 hour and 30 minutes, delivered over approximately three months.
Instructor
Michelle Amado is a native English speaker with extensive experience teaching academic and professional English at universities in Portugal and abroad. Her work focuses on helping students develop fluency, confidence and clear communication skills in international and professional environments.

Participation in the course includes:
- 12 live online sessions (1h30 each)
- Small-group learning to encourage active participation

- Direct interaction with the instructor throughout the course
Sessions will take place:
- Mondays and Wednesdays
- 18:30–20:00 (Brussels time)
To ensure that the group remains homogeneous and that the course is effective for all participants, candidates will complete a short oral screening interview before the course begins.

Price and registration
The total fee for the course is:
EUR 345
Participants may alternatively choose to pay in three monthly instalments of EUR 115.
To reserve a place in the course, participants must complete the registration process and pay a EUR 60 reservation fee.
This reservation fee allows participants to schedule the short oral screening interview required to confirm that the course level (C1) is appropriate.
- If the candidate is not accepted following the level assessment, the reservation fee will be fully refunded.
- If the candidate is accepted, the reservation fee will be deducted from the total course fee, and the participant may proceed with the payment of the remaining amount according to their preferred payment option.
The course will run only if the minimum number of participants is reached.
