PROFESSIONAL FRENCH FOR THE EUROPEAN UNION (A1-A2)

Registration for this course will take place through the Yepso! website between 21 July and 1 September 2026.
The course will be confirmed once the minimum number of participants has been reached.
Places are limited to ensure personalised teaching and encourage active participation throughout all sessions.
Information
This course has been designed to provide participants with a solid foundation in French, combining the acquisition of language knowledge with a practical approach focused on the European Union context.
The programme combines live online classes with a manual developed specifically for the course, enabling participants to continue learning between sessions through reinforcement activities and practical exercises.
The course consists of 6 two-hour sessions, delivered between 1 September and 6 October 2026, with a total of 12 teaching hours.
Classes will take place on Tuesdays, from 18:30 to 20:30 Brussels time.
Instructor
Fátima Gómez Cáneba is a practising freelance translator and interpreter, as well as a lecturer in the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Salamanca. She graduated in Translation and Interpreting —French, German and Italian— in 2020 and completed her doctorate with Cum Laude distinction in 2025.
Her professional work combines the training of future translators for international contexts with research into communication accessibility and professional practice in literary translation and marketing.
